UNIQUE OFFER TO HARTFORD BUSINESSESS AND NON-PROFITS: WIN A BRANDING MAKEOVER
West Hartford, Conn. (May 28, 2008)…Is your company or non-profit in need of a new look and identity? Does your current logo no longer fit your mission? Are you a start up venture in need of branding? If your answer is yes to any of these questions, The Perfect Promotion of West Hartford may have just the solution as it partners with others in the academic, business and non-profit sectors to create a unique opportunity in greater Hartford this summer.
With Hartford Business Journal as its media sponsor, The Perfect Promotion has put together a panel of expert professionals to help a deserving non-profit organization and a business entity create new branding identities, complete with new or updated logo, new website homepage design, letterhead & business card design, and imprinted promotional items. A panel of judges will select the two winners who provide the best responses to the qualifying essay: “Why our organization deserves a branding makeover”. The essays must provide concrete reasons why a branding makeover will contribute to future success, and the organization’s mission/line of business is deemed a valuable and well-regarded product or service to the community by the judges.
The branding makeover’s judges represent a cross section of business leaders, advertising and graphic design specialists, non-profit executives and marketing and public relations association representatives, headed by the branding makeover’s event chair, Jody Ferrer, President of The Perfect Promotion. Deadline for entries is
December
31st and applications are available by calling The Perfect Promotion at 860.523.1200 or by accessing the website at www.theperfectpromotion.net . The winning organizations will be notified in late
February,
2009 and will then work with a team of designers comprising select judges and student designers at the Hartford Art School/University of Hartford.
“I wanted to create this contest and event for a couple of reasons”, commented Ferrer. “There is great talent to showcase in greater Hartford – lots of small companies that deserve a helping hand. Especially in this business climate, if we can help a business succeed it bodes well for everyone. And any initiative that partners the academic community, the private sector and the non-profit world is a good investment in our community.”
